Two angles are supplementary if the sum adds up to 180°. Let the first angle be A and the second be B

 

A + B = 180°,

we also know that one of the angles is five times the other,

B = 5A plug this in the first equation to get

 

A + 5A = 180°

      6A = 180

        A = 30°

The measure of the larger angle is 5A =150°

Two angles are supplementary means two angles add up to 180^o.  So angle 1 + angle 2 = 180^o

Since we don't know either angle, let's say angle 1  = x

If angle 2 is "five times the measure of the other angle (angle 1)", that means angle 2 = 5x

If we put these last 2 equations back to the first one, we get

                    x + 5x = 180^o

                           6x = 180^o

                             x = 30^o           (measure of angle 1 = x)

Always go back and make sure you answered the questions that's being asked.  The question is "what is the measure of the larger angle".  angle 2 is the larger angle, so

                     angle 2 = 5x

                     angle 2 = 5(30^o)

                    angle 2 = 150^o

So the measure of the larger angle is 150^o  

You can quickly check if these angle measurements makes sense: angle 1 + angle 2 should equal 180^o, 30^o + 150^o = 180^o.
