I need helppppppp

A palindrome is a number that reads the same forwards and backwards, such as 12321. How many 5-digit palindromes are there?

Hamilton A.

I'll bet you can help yourself here, Isabelle. Start by figuring out how many 2-digit palindromes there are; you should be able to write all these out. (Heck, start with 1-digit palindromes if you need to.) Then crucially, figure out how many 3-digit palindromes there are; writing these out would be a little bit tedious, but there's a pattern that you should see. That same pattern applies to the 5-digit palindromes case.
