How did they end up with this answer?

This is supposed to be a chemistry problem, but I'm just wondering about the math right now: (x is 'multiplied by')
.005 times one over 760 = 7 times 10 to the negative sixth power

.005 X 760  = 7x10^-6

How did they get that?

Oh, I see! they just rounded the 6.58 to 7, times ten to negative sixth (because the decimal was moved six places to the right, I'm assuming?)

If the answer needs to be expressed to the correct number of significant figures, then 7 times ten to the negative sixth is correct.  Of the numbers in the calculation, both 1 and 0.005 have one sig fig, which limits the sig figs of the answer to one as well.
