Not sure if i'm on track or not

Translate this sentence about area into a mathematical equation. The area A of a regular pentagon is directly proportional to the square of the length s of its sides.
 
I tried to do this and came up with A=S^2*5
 
I'm not sure if i'm getting this or not.
