One parenthetical equation must be subtraction, and the other addition, to achieve -10x².

The number 18 can be reached by either (6)(3), (9)(2) or (18)(1).

The number 10 can be reached by either (5)(2) or (10)(1)

(9x⁴-5x)(2x+0)
