Two lines cross each other, forming four angles. If one of the angles formed measures 2x + 6 and the angle directly across from it measures 7x - 4. What is the measure of the angles

The two angles are vertical angles.  So, they are congruent.  

 

Therefore, 2x + 6 = 7x - 4

 

                      5x = 10

 

                       x = 2

 

Measure of each angle = 2(2) + 6 = 10°
