Nadine, this is all about unit conversion with your original amount on top, then rearranging the conversion (this case 100g/newton) so the g(ram) unit cancels out and then newton ends up on top. So start with 400g on the numerator and multiply by newton/100g, netting 4 newtons. Hope that helps!
