Think of it in terms of what raising something to the third power means - multiplying by itself three times.

x6y15
More generally, nested exponents like this will multiply, as you can see happens here. The 2nd power on the x is multiplied by 3 to get a sixth power, while the 5th power on the y is multiplied by 3 to get a fifteenth power.
