algebra 2 problem

When f(x) is divided by x+3 and that factor theorem is use for f(x) 3x6+823+27 what would be the remainder?

I looked over the problem and it's written

f(x)= 3x6+823+27

I think you have a misprint in your equation.
Is that f(x) = 3x6 + 8x3 + 27

Again, it seems as if it should read 3x6+82x3+27, in which case

f(-3) = 0 which would mean that x+3 is a factor and the remainder is zero. This makes far more sense than any other answer you may be getting since it deals with the factor theorem.
