If we want to isolate z we need to divide both sides by
v3
y/v3 = zv3/v3
y/v3 = z
This is the same as z = y/v3

Note: If a = bc then a/c = b
When one has an equality you can multiply or divide both sides by
the same factor or add or subtract the same thing from both sides
and still have an equality:
2(3) = 6
2 = 6/3 or 3 = 6/2
2+5 = 7
5 = 7-2 or 2 = 7-5
and so forth.
