Could some assist me in answering this H (x) = 5x^3/2x^2-8

H(x) is even if H(-x) = H(x) and H(x) is odd if H(-x) = -H(x).

 

 H(-x) = 5(-x)³/[2(-x)² - 8] = -5x³/[2x²-8] = -H(x)

 

So, H(x) is an odd function.
