Use the y=mx+b equation to solve
We know that our slope ("m") is "-5", so we can re-write our equation as y=-5x+b
We know that the line has to contain the point (2,3) so we can plug these values in for x and y, respectively, to solve for b
Plugging these values in, we get the following equation: 3=-5(2)+b, which can be simplified to 3=-10+b
To get b on one side of the equation, we add "-10" to each side of the equation, which gives us the new equation: 13=b
Plugging this value for b, into our original equation, gives us a line with the following equation: y=-5x+13
