ruby has one solution that is 10% nitric acid and a second that is 20% nitric acid . how many ounce of each is needed to make 20 ounce of a solution that is 15% nitric acid .

Answer 1

Mixing one ounce of the first solution with one ounce of the second solution gives two ounces of a solution that is 15% acid.  So ten ounces of each is the answer.
