Store A had DVDs in packs of 3 for $15.60. Store B sells DVDs for $6.00 each. How much is saved (if any) on each DVD if you but six DVDs from Store A instead of 6 DVDs from Store B?

A: 3 @ 15.60, so six cost 31.20

B: 1 @ 6.00, so six cost 36.00

 

Savings = B - A

Savings = 36.00 - 31.20

Savings = 4.80

Six DVDs from store A is 2(15.60) and six DVDs from store B is 6(6.00). Find the difference (if any) between the two values.
