For example:  A 5 by 4 rectangle has a perimeter of 18 and doubling the length and width gives a 10 by 8 rectangle with perimeter of 36.

a 6 by 3 rectangle has perimeter 18
   12 by 6 has perimeter 36

1 by 8
2 by 16

2 by 7
4 by 14
