So, as I read it, you're looking for - √(81/144), right? That's a negative sign, with a fraction inside of a square root?
With division inside of a square root, you're allowed to do the square root of the top and the square root of the bottom separately, and then divide your answers. (You can't do the same thing when you have addition or subtraction inside of a square root, though; you can't split that up! Caaareful in problems like that.)
The square root of 81 is 9.
The square root of 144 is 12.
So, you get 9/12, and then you can reduce that to 3/4.
And then you have a negative in front...so you'd get -3/4.
