Since the knob went through 4 complete rotations, we can ignore them for this problem. What we need to concentrate on is the original starting position of the knob (170 degrees) and the .75 rotation.
360×.75= 270 degrees
Now, we add this to the original starting position: 170 + 270= 440 degrees
Lastly, we subtract 360 degrees from this, because the knob was turned one complete rotation
440-360=80
The knob's new position will be at 80 degrees.
