solve .7n-1.5+7.3=14.5 First subtract -1.5+7.3 from both sides of the equation this will get the unknown on the left side and the constants on the right hand side of the equation 

This gives .7n=8.7 ( 8.7=14.5 +1.5-7.3) the we can dived both sides by .7 giving n=12.43

which is the solution
