Get all of the P's on one side and everything else on the other (3/2)p - 14 = p + 13 + 14 + 14 (3/2)p = p + 27 -p -p Side work: (3/2)p - p = (3/2)p - (2/2)p = (1/2)p (1/2)p = 27 In order to get rid of a fraction muliplied by your varriable, multiply the fractions reciprocal (2/1)x(1/2)p = 27x(2/1) p = 54

Get all of the P's on one side and everything else on the other

(3/2)p - 14 = p + 13

+ 14 + 14

(3/2)p = p + 27

-p -p

Side work: (3/2)p - p = (3/2)p - (2/2)p = (1/2)p (1/2)p = 27

In order to get rid of a fraction muliplied by your varriable, multiply by the fractions reciprocal

(2/1)x(1/2)p = 27x(2/1)

p = 54
