A's revenue was 3/5 as large as B's ==> A = (3/5)*B = 0.6*B
A's revenue was twice as large as C's ==> A = 2*C
B's revenue is 3.4 million more than A ==> B = A + 3.4
Substitute the value for B from the 3rd equation into the 1st equation ==>
A = (0.6)*(A + 3.4)
A = 0.6*A + 2.04
0.4A = 2.04
A = 2.04 / 0.4 = 5.1
So C = A/2 = 5.1/2 = $2.55 million
Check: B = A + 3.4 = $8.5 million
A = (3/5)*8.5 = $5.1 million
A = 5.1 = 2*2.55 = 2*C = twice C
