asked 02/07/25Probability Theory
Hello,
Do you tutor on the college level subject of Probability Theory? Specifically, can you help with Proof Methods using calculus and not using Epsilon-Delta proof methods? And help with college level understanding of combinations and permutations, proof writing tricks, word problems (related to proofs using calculus) and re-indexing summations? Are you familiar with Proof based Induction, Combinatorical Agreement?
Thank you.

Hi Lisa! I imagine others have reached out to you, and I don't want to step on any toes in case you've already found someone. If so, that's great — I hope you get what you need. But if not, I specialize in probability theory and would be happy to help.

Hey Lisa,
Great questions! Probability Theory can definitely get tricky, especially when proofs and re-indexing summations come into play. I’d be happy to help—proof methods using calculus (without Epsilon-Delta) are right up my alley, and I’ve worked with a lot of students on combinations, permutations, and proof-writing techniques.
If you’re stuck on anything specific, let me know! I’m happy to walk through problems with you and make sense of things together. Looking forward to hearing more about what you need help with.
