To find the water forces on the sides of the tank:
1. Force on larger sides (1.25 m x 0.9 m):
Area = 1.25 m × 0.9 m = 1.125 m²
Average pressure =
Force = Pressure × Area = 4414.5 × 1.125 = 4966.31 N
2. Force on smaller sides (1 m x 0.9 m):
Area = 1 m × 0.9 m = 0.9 m²
Average pressure = 4414.5 Pa (same as above)
Force = Pressure × Area = 4414.5 × 0.9 = 3973.05 N
So, the forces on the larger and smaller sides are 4966.31 N and 39
73.05 N, respectively.

I was trying a different method and got the same answers as you, but it's still not correct. I'm really not sure where I am going wrong10/22/24
