Math, microeconomics or criminal justice
f(x)= (8x-4)^3(3x-4)^14
has degree, leading coefficient and constant term equal as follows:
multiply the two factors together and you get a polynomial of degree = 2^3 times 2^14 = 2^17
the leading term's coefficient = 8^3 times 3^14
and a constant term will = (-4)^3 times (-4)^14 = (-4)^17 = -4^17
if you set f(x) = 0 and solved for x you'd get x- 1/2 and x = 4/3, two solutions
