x = 5/6 +/-(1/6)sqr(25+72)= (5+/-sqr97)/6
x= about 2.47481, x= -0.80814
are the discontinuities and horizontal asymptotes
horizontal asymptote is y=-8/3, as x approaches + or - infinity
divide highest powered terms' coefficients, divide -8 by 3
it might help to use a graphing calculator, such as desmos online
which also shows (2.4, 1.979) and the origin as possible discontinuities
origin is the only x or y intercept. not sure why (2.4, 1.979) shows up in the graph as a point possibly not on the line, or of other significance
the graph has 3 branches, a U shaped branch above the x axis, 2 branches below
the graph shows the 3 asymptotes, 2 vertical and 1 horizontal
