How do I record my voice over an mp3 file?

I'm currently using a tool called audiomass because I need to use a free browser tool. I would like to know how to record my voice over the instrumental i uploaded and i'm very new to music production. If someone could suggest a tool I can use or just how to do this (in general) I would be super grateful.

If audio recording is something that you see yourself doing for the foreseeable future,

I would suggest downloading Pro Tools Intro which is free from Avid, and works on both

Windows as well as Mac computers.

If you are in fact heading in this direction with passion and purpose, you are being hurled into

the need to acquire a Digital Audio Workstation (DAW), this is a good thing!

Apple's Garage Band comes free with Mac computers, iPads, and iPhones, and is actually an

introduction to its big brother DAW Logic Audio.

It takes multi track recording capability to overdub and mix effectively so getting started

with a free DAW platform would be very beneficial for your current and future recording

needs.

Hey Jeremy, if you'd like to work in a browser it may be helpful to check out BandLab or Soundtrap, both of which offer free tiers. GarageBand is also one of the easiest tools to get started with if you're on a mac.
