Calculus 5.5 U Substitution - Definite Integrals.

I need help solving a u sub definite integral question. I'll give a sample similar to it.

b value is pi/2 and a value is -pi/2 the function is (4x^3 * sin(4x))/(1+x^6) dx

This is not a simple u-sub example. Please just provide your exact problem

∫(5x^4 * sin(5x))/(1+x^8) dx from –π/2 to π/2 is simple. Since the integrand is an odd function, its value over the interval –π/2 to π/2 is equal to zero. The integral you give in your question, however, is more difficult because the integrand (4x^3 * sin(4x))/(1+x^6) is an even function.
