MAT 270: Calculus 4.2

Can I get step by step example of a problem that's like this one.

Suppose f(x) is continuous on [2,6] and -2 ≤ f'(x) ≤ 4 for all x in (2,6). Use the Mean Value Theorem to estimate f(6)-f(2).

Looks like you missed a negative sign, so I think you meant to say "-2 <= f'(c) <=4" and then, consequently "-8 <= f(6) - f(2) <= 16
