Use the graphing feature of a TI-89 calculator to find the zeros of the function f(x)=1/7x^3-2x+3 rounded to 2 decimal places.

On the graph, the zeros are the x-intercepts. On the left of the y-axis, there is a zero where the graph crosses the x-axis. You can find that value on the calculator. On the right side of the y-axis, the graph does not touch or cross the x-axis. It comes close (y = 0.12), but never intersects the axis. This indicates that the other two sollutions are complex and do not appear on the real coordinate plane.

I have an example problem that show you how to do this 2 different ways. Since yours is cubic, you may have 3 zeros. It is the same process.
