Experienced Instructor in Prealgebra, Algebra I and II, SAT/ACT Math.
If it's parallel to y = 3x - 4, then the slope will also be 3 (y = mx + b, where x is slope and b is y-int).
To go through (3, -3), need find a new "b".
-3 = 3(3) + b
b = -12.
y = 3x - 12
