As you MAY have figured out since, the problem gives distributions of phenotypes (A, B, AB, and O); you need the genotype ab, which results in the phenotype O. You had to read your textbook closely, to catch this, perhaps. But it's fascinating stuff -- I'm A + , whereas my dad was O - . (So, you can tell my genotype, right??) The blood banks were always so eager to get his blood donations, though I probably donated more units than he did -- I quit keepingdonor cards and accepting coffee mugs after about 115 units.
