Uniform crime reporting classification of offenses known

The 2005 case of a cobb county woman who was carjacked, kidnapped, shot, then killed as the assailant drive her suv into a cement truck; how would the charges be classified in the uniform crime report? Ucr handbook defines criminal homicide as the willful and negligent taking of a life by another. Would this be reported under part 1 crimes of offenses known or would it not be classified as criminal negligent homicide and therefore be reported under part 2 or vehicular manslaughter? Since the assailant was shot and killed by a good samaritan, the outcome of the case never played put in a court room.
