Figure you have found an answer to your question by now but I just joined Wyzant as a tutor and saw an unanswered question so I wanted to help!

 

While there are many community based treatment efforts which can be prescribed by a court the first thing to realize is that these community treatment efforts can be ordered before someone is finally adjudicated on charges or they can come at the end of a sentence. 

 

Some treatment options include:

1. Dedicated employment programs

2. Community sanctioned work programs (for restitution efforts)

2. Community counseling groups/sessions

3. Spiritual guidance and programs.
