Are you sure the second function is y + 3y = 0? Why not write y=0?
You might think about switching the x's and y's. That might be a more comfortable orientation and the area won't change. Then you integrate in terms of x.
As I look closer though, there is no upper limit. I think you need to double check that you wrote the question correctly.
