Find the point at which the line f ( x ) = − x − 4 intersects the line g ( x ) = − 5 x − 4

Last of the questions ive been getting stuck at, I can get the first intersect, but for some reason my math is always off on the second intersect not sure what im doing wrong.

(0,-4) is the intersection point

set f(x) = g(x) and solve for x =0

-x-4 =y =0-4=-4

2 straight lines have either 0, 1 or an infinite number of intersection points

0 if parallel

1 if not parallel

but never any finite number greater than 1

infinite number if they're the same line

The lines intersect at only one point (basic Euclidian Geometry)!

-x - 4 = -5x - 4

x = 0

So what is the point?
