θ=π is just the y axis in Cartesian co=ordinates.
The area in question is the interior of a semi-circle.
What does 1.5π have to do with it?

OK, so you mean 3/4 of a circle, including what are usually called quadrants 1, 2 and 3. BUT your description is equivocal, which is why I was confused by your statement.
