The height in feet of a projectile at time t seconds is H(t)= -16t^2+480t+5 . Find the velocity of the projectile when t = 3 seconds.

H(t) = -16t^2 +480t +5
take the derivative
H'(t)=V(t) = -32t +480
V(3) =-32(3)+480=480-96
= 484 feet per second velocity when t=3
