Ferry rate = x
Boat rate = x-8
(x+x-8)2 = 200
2x = 100+8
x = 108/2 = 54 km/h

the ferry and boat leave from the same harbour but travel in opposite directions.
after 2 hrs, they are 200 km apart. find the value of x.
