This problem will result in a very useful unit of measure, which we use to see how efficient a passenger vehicle is: miles per gallon, or mpg. Trucks can have mpg as low as 10, while some gas scooters can have mpg as high as 100, being a light vehicle. Many cars hover between 20 to 40 mpg. Now lets get down to business.
To calculate mpg, we must understand the unit breakdown, which is [miles / gallons]. In our case, we need to take the change in miles (or delta) and divide this by the change in gallons (delta), to get our mpg rating.
The change in miles is 150 mi. The change in gasoline is 6 gal - 3 gal = 3 gal. So to calculate, we do
150mi / 3 gal = 50mpg
50 mpg is pretty decent compared to a car, but not the best for a motorbike. I'd say mid to low-tier.
