Find the velocity (in m/s) of the particle at time t.

Find the total distance travelled (in metres) by the particle. (more lost on this part)

a(t) = -4t-16

integrate and use v(0)=-20

v(t) = -2t^2 -16t -20

integrate again

s(t) = -2t^3/3 -8t^2 -20t + c

evaluate from t=0 to t=10

s(10)-s(0) = -2(1000)/3 - 8100 -200=-8966 2/3

take the absolute value

distance traveled = 8966 2/3 meters
