The graph shows the height h in centimeters of a sunflower t weeks after it was planted as a seedling. Write a paragraph describing the sunflower's growth.

Your paragraph should include estimates of the average rate of growth for time periods that represent early, middle, and late growth.

I'm guessing your graph looks something like this:

I added the blue, green, and brown dotted lines to my graph. You'll need to do that for yours. Then determine the approximate slope of each of those lines. For instance, the blue dotted line on my graph goes up about 25 cm in 5 weeks. That would be a slope of 25/5 or 5 cm/week and that is the approximate growth rate for approximately the first 4 weeks. Then the green dotted line on my graph goes up about 150 cm in 5 weeks. That would be a slope of 150/5 or 30 cm/week and that would be the growth rate for approximately weeks 4 through 7. And you can repeat for the brown dotted line.

Then just write that out as a paragraph.
