Pre calculus question

I need to "write the solution as a product of 2 matrices"

 

(7/4)x-(9/4)y-z=9

 x-y-z=8

-(5/4)x+(7/4)y+z=2

 

Can you tell me how I go about doing this? Thanks

You can use the inverse matrix method. You would make matrix A using the coefficients on the left of the equal signs.

Matrix A:

[7/4 -9/4 -1]

[1 -1 -1]

[-5/4 7/4 1]

Then the numbers on the right side of the equal sign is B:

[9]

[8]

[2]

Then multiply A^-1B for the solution.
