There are 52 cards on a deck
probability = number of desired outcomes/total possible number of outcomes.
total possible number of outcomes is always 52
1) getting a jack - there are 4 jacks in a deck, so the number of desired outcomes is 4
2) getting 6 of clubs - there is one such card - so the number of desired outcomes is 1
3) getting a 3 or a diamond - there are 4 3's and 13 diamonds, however there is a 3 of diamonds, so there are 4 + 13 = 1 = 16 desired outcomes.
4) there are 4 3's and 4 6's, so there are 4 + 4 = 8 desired outcomes
