sometimes a, b, and c are used to denote sides of a right triangle, with c = the hypotenuse
b often the base and a = the altitude.
If so, then angle C = 90 degrees, A is the angle opposite side a, B is the angle opposite side b.
Apply the Pythagorean Theorem to get
c^2 = a^2 + b^2
81 = a^2 + 17
a = sqr(81-17) = sqr(64) = 8
cscA = 1/sinA
sinA = 8/9
cscA = 9/8
