An objective is not necessary on a resume, no. But it is a good place to summarize, highlight, and showcase. If the rest of your resume is strong and/or if your goal is either very broad or very obvious, you can skip it if you'd like. Good luck to all the job seekers out there!

Having an Objective statement on your resume may be seen as outdated by many HR directors and hiring managers. It is better in 2022 to use this section of your resume for a Career Summary instead. If you prefer not to add a career summary or just graduated, start your resume with Education or Skills.
