I was trying to figure out this simple math equation and I am having a little difficulty so could you please help me figure this out?

x^1/3 = x

 

Cube both sides:  x = x³

 

So, x³ - x = 0

 

x(x² - 1) = 0

 

x(x - 1)(x + 1) = 0

 

x = 0, 1, -1
