Evaluate the following limit. (Round your answer to four decimal places. If an answer does not exist, enter DNE.)

lim x→9 x - 3/x-9

It isn't clear what is supposed to be under the radical sign...but in no event does this limit exist.

But I suspect that you may not have submitted the problem correctly; for example

y=sqrt((x-3)/(x²-9)) would be a more common question.
