total pay = (hours worked under 40)*(rate) +(hours worked over 40)*(1.5*rate)
I will denote rate as r, we have all the rest of these variables so we can just solve for r
667 = 40*r + 12*1.5*r
simplify
667 = 40r + 18r
667 = 58r
devide both sides by 58 to get r by itself
r = 667/58 = 11.5 or $11.50/hour
