Question

The traffic flow rate (cars per hour) across an intersection is r(t) = 200 + 900t -90t², where t is in hours, and t=0 is 6am. How many cars pass through the intersection between 6 am and 9 am?

So you need to integrate the rate expression with respect to t, over the range of 0 to 3 (do you nderstand why?). Note that you don't need to include an arbitrary constant, since it would subtract out anyway!
