asked 10/12/21The function f(x) = 7x^3 - 5x, x >= 1, is one-to-one and has an inverse function y = g(x). Find an equation of the tangent line to the graph of g at the point (46, 2) on g.

My equation is y - 2 = 1/79 (x + 46) which is wrong.

You just made a little mistake. It should be x - 46
You can, of course, write this as y = mx+b, instead.

Looks like (x+46) should be (x - 46), based on y - y1 = m(x - x1). The 1/79 is correct.10/12/21
