I have a calculus problem. I understand that the initial population is 995, and that the population growth is 40 percent. I am having difficulty figuring out how to solve it when t=5.

Just set t to 5

n(5)=995e^0.4(5)=995e² ≈ 7352

To get e² on a calculator, enter 2 and the 2nd and e^x keys.
